"Driver was 15 minutes EARLIER than i had organised. i assumed that driver would ring house doorbell but protocol was to call MY mobile. i missed these messages as i was not in the travelling party so i was not expecting them.
on reading messages later, it appeared that driver was about to abandon the job. it was lucky that someone opened our front door to see driver was waiting on the road.
luckily party caught the ride and arrived at destination in good time, although it was a close shave!!"
